Classic
Army - SLR105 Compact |
The CA SLR105C has been so consistently accurate and reliable
that it is still as supplied with no mods or upgrades, a great
gun and worth the high price. |

TM / Trapper Industries
AS / VSS Vintorez
(Conversion) |
This TM AK47 has proved to be an excellent second hand buy. The
issue inner barrel is a bit baggy (as most 'issue' inner barrels
are) and needs upgrading to a 6.3mm. The front end is a real
deal Russian Federation VSS front end supplied and fitted by
Trapper Industries. The folding stock came with the AK, I liked
the look and functionality of it so much I decided to keep it in
preference over the standard VSS / SVD wood furniture. Swapper
the grip for a nice modern rubber tactical one to finish the
look. It really should have a scope being a counter sniper
weapon but im more interested in functionality when playing at
Airsoft so decided to go without. |

King Arms - SVD Dragunov |
This truly was a great buy, if you get the chance to buy one do
it, they are now out of production and hard to find. I got this
second hand from a chap who had not really used it, hence the
spring was knackered on it and needed replacing, a small price
to pay. Magazines unfortunately are equally hard to get hold of
and expensive at £25+p&p a throw. I put a 150 spring in this and
it now throws out the 3.0 bb's at 490fps.....Ouch! keep you
distance please gents...Replaced the black fibre sling with a
leather brown tan RusFed issue one. |

JG AK47 Beta Spetsnaz |
The JG AK47BS is very good value for money coming in at under
£100(2009 price), it takes a big 9.6v battery and has a v3
gearbox standard. I replaced the original grip (see VSS grip
above) for a uber modern tactical one, attached a D-Boy front
RIS grip, top RIS mount with red dot sight and electric drum
magazine. It will get a 6.3mm inner barrel then be finished. At
that price you can afford a few little added extras. |

CYMA / Battleaxe RPK
(Conversion Kit) |
I bought a CYMA AK47 real wood and metal, stripped it down then
put on the Battleaxe RPK conversion kit. The only tricky bit was
putting the hopup unit back together. The Battleaxe kit is very
good quality, reasonably cheap and easy to install. Add the
3500rnd metal drum magazine, a 6.3mm inner barrel, a 9.6v
battery and you have a truly awesome gun both visually and in
performance. |
|
JG Sig 552 |
Im putting a stalker loadout together, this gun will become part
of it as well as used when not wanting to wear Russian gear,
doing the mercenary thang. Its a great gun although im not used
to the 300rnd mags, I have plenty at hand just in case. The
build quality of this gun is excellent, all metal in the right
places. I had a H+K front RIS grip spare that fitted in nicely.
The Walther sight is nice and big with the optin of a green or
red dot. |

Double
Eagle - JT3a Benelli |
The is a cheap and cheerful shotgun, it fires 3 bb's at a time,
the magazine holds about 30 bb's. The gun feels light but
durable but at around £30 off the shelf its still a good buy. |
|
CYMA -
Glock 18c |
I
love this pistol, I use it to accompany my SVD in case I get
into a tight squeeze. The gun has a nice weight, the magazines
hold about 30 shots each although you can get 100rnd magazines
for it. The Glock has the option of single or fully automatic
shooting, which is nice and fires at about 230fps. |
|
TM - VZ.61
Scorpion |
Another great gun for CQB, not much good for outdoors as the fps
is set at around 240fps. The mid cap mags that come with it are
little good it your a lather merchant like myself and really
price themselves out of the market when you can get a 240rnd
high cap plastic drum mag cheaper. |
